The wide-body, all-wheel drive, mid-engine, fire-spitting huge turbo and the Peugeot Sport coloured stripes made it as fast as it looks. This version in particular, with the tarmac setup, lowered and with rim scoop/caps pays an homage to the actual winner of the 53rd Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo in 1985 being driven by the legend Ari Vatanen himself.
Every owner of a 'regular' 205 had the 205 T16 as an image of what his own car could be: a hot hatch on steroids. A lot of steroids. Steroids on a mutant level to be fair.
